Bayonetta Origins Cereza and the Lost Demon tells a prequel story following a young version of the witch protagonist as she bonds with a demon companion in an enchanted, fairy tale inspired forest.

Gameplay shifts away from the main series' combo focused action toward controlling both Cereza and her demon simultaneously to solve puzzles and battle enemies. Its storybook presentation and puzzle driven approach offer a gentler, more atmospheric take on the Bayonetta universe.
