Elderand is a dark fantasy Metroidvania combining tight 2D combat with exploration of a grim, interconnected world filled with monstrous enemies and hidden paths. Ability-gated progression opens new areas as the character grows stronger.

Its oppressive, cosmic-horror-inflected atmosphere and demanding combat draw clear inspiration from punishing action RPGs, filtered through classic Metroidvania structure and pixel-art presentation.
