Mega Man X Legacy Collection gathers entries from the more advanced, story-driven X series, following the reploid hero X as he battles rogue mavericks threatening a world of intelligent robots. It preserves the series' faster movement and wall-jumping platforming.

Players platform through varied stages, unlock upgrades, and battle Maverick bosses across the included games. Its expanded mobility and darker tone distinguish it from the classic Mega Man series.
