Pixel Ripped 1978 is a game-within-a-game from ARVORE in which players juggle a retro-style video game with what is happening in the world around them. The pixel-art heroine Dot fights through classic-looking levels while the player deals with real-life interruptions.

Levels constantly play with the line between the game and its surroundings, as enemies and power-ups spill out of the screen. It is a nostalgic tribute to early home gaming, set in the late 1970s.
