Ace Robot Combat is an action game centered on piloting or controlling combat robots through battles against rival machines. The gameplay leans into mechanized action, with an emphasis on weapons and tactical maneuvering.

Players take on a series of robot-versus-robot encounters, upgrading their machine's capabilities as they progress. It's aimed at fans of mech-themed action who enjoy straightforward, combat-focused gameplay. There's little padding to wade through, so the core idea it's built around comes across clearly within the first few sessions of play.
