Arida Backlands Awakening is a survival adventure set in the dry Brazilian backlands of the late nineteenth century, following a young girl struggling to survive a harsh drought. Gathering resources, managing thirst and hunger, and exploring the region form the core structure.

Its culturally distinctive setting gives the survival adventure genre a fresh regional identity. It suits fans of story-driven games rooted in specific, underrepresented history and landscapes.
