Master Detective Archives: Rain Code is a mystery adventure from the creators of the Danganronpa series, following a young detective with amnesia as he investigates supernatural cases in the perpetually rainy Kanai Ward. Aided by a mysterious Reaper-like companion, he unravels crimes tied to a shadowy organization controlling the city.

Investigation segments involve gathering evidence and questioning suspects, while surreal "Mystery Labyrinth" sequences turn deduction into a more puzzle-like challenge. Its blend of noir mystery and stylized fantasy gives it a distinct identity.
