PATAPON 1 plus 2 REPLAY bundles remastered versions of the original rhythm-strategy titles, where players command an army of small tribal creatures using rhythmic drum commands. Timing inputs to the beat drives movement, attacks, and formation changes.

Its hybrid of music and tactics creates a distinctive rhythm-based strategy experience unlike typical action games. The collection lets newcomers and returning fans revisit both entries with updated visuals and refined presentation.
