RAILWAY EMPIRE is a railway tycoon strategy game set during the expansion of the railroads in nineteenth-century America. Players build tracks and stations, buy locomotives and set up routes to carry passengers and goods between cities.

Competing companies, economic management and the need to keep a growing network efficient provide the challenge. A campaign, scenarios and free play modes let players focus on either the business side or the logistics of running trains.
