Eiyuden Chronicle Hundred Heroes is a spiritual successor to classic Suikoden-style RPGs, following a growing cast of over a hundred recruitable characters as they build a rebellion against an oppressive empire. Turn-based battles and base-building both play major roles.

Recruiting characters to join a headquarters that grows alongside the story gives the game a strong sense of community-building, while its turn-based combat and political storyline echo the genre it draws its inspiration from closely.
