Outward is an open-world survival RPG that drops players into the role of an ordinary adventurer, with no chosen-hero status, who must manage hunger, fatigue, and injury while exploring a dangerous land.

Combat is deliberate and grounded, journeys require preparation, and cooperative play lets a second player join the same world, making survival and discovery a shared, often precarious experience.
