Shin Megami Tensei V follows a student pulled into a devastated, demon-filled version of Tokyo, forced to navigate factions and choose the fate of a fractured world.

Players recruit and fuse a wide array of demons into their party, using turn-based tactics centered on exploiting elemental weaknesses. Its dark tone and morally complex choices define the series' modern entry.
