Sword of the Necromancer is an action roguelite in which a young woman ventures into a cursed dungeon to resurrect a lost loved one, battling monsters and capturing their souls to fight alongside her.

Runs feature randomized dungeon layouts, monster-summoning mechanics, and permadeath, encouraging repeated attempts with new strategies each time. Local co-op support lets a second player join the fight, adding a shared-adventure angle to the roguelite loop.
