Valis II is a classic side-scrolling action game following a schoolgirl chosen to wield a magical sword against forces threatening the dream world. Players fight through stages using melee attacks and magic in a mix of platforming and combat.

As an early entry in the long-running Valis series, it is known for its anime-influenced presentation and challenging, level-based structure. It remains a notable piece of action-platformer history from its era.
