Yomawari Midnight Shadows follows two young girls separated in the dark after a fireworks festival, searching for each other through streets haunted by supernatural threats.

Players can't fight back, instead relying on hiding, careful movement, and light sources to avoid the yokai and ghosts lurking nearby. Its quiet, unsettling atmosphere turns familiar neighborhood settings into something deeply unnerving after dark.
