Dead Rising 2 Off The Record retells the story of Dead Rising 2 from the perspective of a returning series character, exploring the zombie-infested casino city with the same combo-weapon crafting and time-limited structure. Players rescue survivors and investigate the outbreak while facing familiar and new threats.

Its blend of dark humor and inventive, improvised combat carries over from the original release with an alternate narrative angle. Fans of the series will enjoy revisiting the setting through a different character's eyes.
