Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree is a major expansion to the open-world action RPG, introducing a new region called the Land of Shadow along with fresh weapons, bosses, and story content tied to the mysteries of the Elden Ring's history.

It extends the base game's demanding combat and exploration into new territory, requiring players to have made significant progress in the main story before venturing into its punishing, lore-rich additional world.
