Stellaris is a grand strategy game set in space, where players guide a civilization from its first steps into the stars to becoming a galaxy-spanning empire. It combines exploration, diplomacy, warfare, and internal management as players encounter other species and cosmic phenomena.

Emergent storytelling arises from the choices made while expanding territory and reacting to unpredictable events. Its open-ended systems appeal strongly to fans of deep strategy games who enjoy shaping their own galactic history over long play sessions.
