Void Bastards is a first-person roguelike shooter set aboard a derelict fleet of spaceships. Players lead expendable crew members through procedurally arranged ships, scavenging resources while fighting off mutated enemies.

Comic-book style visuals and dark humor accompany the game's strategic looting and combat, as players manage resources across runs to eventually escape the void. Permadeath and ship-to-ship progression shape its roguelike structure.
