C14 Dating is a dating-sim visual novel whose title plays on radiocarbon dating, the method archaeologists use to date ancient finds. Players follow a student taking part in an archaeological excavation, balancing the work of the dig with friendships and budding romance among the team.

Dialogue and choices shape which relationships grow over the course of the story. Its science-inspired premise and archaeology setting set it apart from typical romance games, making it appealing to fans of character-driven visual novels.
