MechWarrior 5: Clans is a story-driven mech combat game that puts players in the cockpit of towering BattleMechs as part of an elite Clan warrior lineage. The campaign follows a strict warrior culture navigating honor, loyalty, and brutal combat against rival factions.

Players customize their mech loadouts and engage in tactical, weapon-heavy battles across varied terrain. Its focus on a structured Clan storyline sets it apart from the more open, mercenary-driven entries in the series.
