Super Stardust Ultra VR brings the twin-stick, planetoid-based space shooter into virtual reality, placing players directly within the action as they blast asteroids and enemy waves circling small spherical arenas. The VR perspective adds immersion to the series' fast, wave-based combat.

Its core gameplay retains the arcade focus on managing multiple weapons, chaining destruction for combos, and surviving escalating enemy waves. The shift to VR gives its spherical arena design a more immediate, physical sense of scale.
