R Type Dimensions EX is an updated package of the original R-Type and R-Type II, the classic side-scrolling shoot-'em-ups from Irem, with the option to switch between classic and modernized visuals.

Players pilot the R-9 fighter through waves of biomechanical Bydo enemies, using the detachable Force pod to shield their ship and redirect firepower. Memorizing stages and bosses is key, rewarding practice with steadily improving runs through some of the genre's most iconic levels.
