Overview:

Mario Strikers: Battle League is a 5-on-5 arcade-style football game developed by Next Level Games and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch. This product provides a digital key for the European eShop, allowing download and play of the game.

Gameplay Mechanics:

• Match Structure:

  Matches are played between two teams of five characters, including four field players and one designated goalie, Boom Boom. The objective is to score goals by getting the ball into the opponent's net.

• Hyper Strike:

  Collecting a glowing orb during a match enables a "Hyper Strike." If executed successfully and charged without interruption, a Hyper Strike awards two goals instead of one.

• Items:

  Classic Mario-franchise items, such as Green Shells, Red Shells, Bananas, and Mushrooms, appear on the pitch. These items can be used strategically to hinder opponents or gain an advantage.

• Gear System:

  Characters can equip different gear sets (head, arms, body, legs). Each piece of gear modifies a character's five core stats: Strength, Speed, Shooting, Passing, and Technique. Players can customize characters to suit specific playstyles or team compositions.

Modes:

• Cup Battles:

  Offline tournament mode for single-player or local co-op play.

• Strikers Club:

  Online competitive mode where players form clubs with up to 20 members. Clubs compete in seasonal leagues, earning points to climb divisions and unlock cosmetic customizations for their stadium.

• Quick Battle:

  Allows for local multiplayer (up to 8 players on one Switch) or online matches against friends or random opponents.

Characters:

The base roster includes: Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, Donkey Kong, Yoshi, Toad, Rosalina, Wario, and Waluigi. Each character possesses unique base stats, influencing their suitability for different roles on the pitch.
