Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 continues the story of the electrically powered hero, introducing a second playable character alongside Gunvolt and expanding the series' tag based combat system.

Gunvolt and Copen each have their own campaign and fighting style, both built around marking enemies before unleashing powerful follow up attacks. New stages and story content continue the anime inspired narrative established in the first game.
