Pokemon Waves is a new entry in the mainline Pokemon role-playing series.

As in the series tradition, players set out on a journey to catch, train, and battle Pokemon, building a team and taking on trainers along the way. Like earlier paired releases, it has a counterpart version with its own differences, encouraging trading between players.
