Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz HD is a remaster of the motion-controlled Monkey Ball entry, having players roll a ball containing a monkey through obstacle courses suspended in the air, collecting bananas and avoiding falls. This version adapts the controls for standard input while keeping the original stage designs and minigame collection intact.

Its blend of precise tilting mechanics and colorful, hazard-filled courses continues the series' focus on tricky navigation over combat. A wide selection of party minigames adds variety beyond the main course-based mode.
