God of War Ragnarok continues the story of Kratos and his son Atreus as the prophesied Norse apocalypse, Ragnarok, draws near, pulling them deeper into conflict with gods across the Nine Realms.

Combat builds on its predecessor's brutal, close-range axe and blade fighting while the story deepens the relationship between father and son, culminating a saga about legacy, fate, and letting go of the past.
