PAYDAY 2 is a cooperative first-person shooter where up to four players plan and execute elaborate heists, from bank robberies to jewelry store thefts, each with multiple approaches and escalating police resistance.

Players choose from various skill specializations, from stealthy infiltration to loud, aggressive combat, adapting tactics as heists unfold. Its appeal comes from replayable heist scenarios and the tension of coordinating with a crew under pressure.
