God of War reinvents the long-running series by following an older Kratos and his young son Atreus through the realms of Norse mythology, as Kratos tries to leave his violent past behind.

Brutal, close-quarters combat with an axe that can be recalled mid-throw is paired with a more personal, character-driven story, exploring the strained bond between father and son as they journey toward a mountain peak.
