Sol Cresta is a vertical shoot-'em-up developed by PlatinumGames as a successor to Nichibutsu's classic arcade shooters Moon Cresta and Terra Cresta. Players pilot a ship through waves of enemies, using the series' signature docking and formation mechanics to combine ship parts into more powerful configurations.
