Warhammer 40000 Mechanicus II continues the turn-based tactics formula of its predecessor, set in the grimdark Warhammer 40,000 universe. Players command squads of the Adeptus Mechanicus through grid-based battles against ancient and dangerous foes.

The sequel builds on the original's tactical positioning and resource management, drawing on the franchise's dark, mechanized lore for its continued campaign.
