Jagged Alliance: Rage! is a tactical squad strategy game following a small group of aging, injured mercenaries stranded on a dangerous island. Turn-based combat forces careful resource use given the mercs' limited health and stamina.

Managing injuries and fatigue alongside tactical positioning adds tension beyond typical squad combat. Its grittier, smaller-scale approach offers a tighter take on the series' mercenary strategy formula.
