Ashen is an action role-playing game set in a world without sunlight, following a wanderer who builds a settlement and forges bonds with other travelers while facing tough, deliberate combat against dangerous creatures. Cooperative play lets other players join as companions during the journey.

Its challenging combat and stark, shadowless visual style draw comparisons to other punishing action RPGs while carving out its own tone. It suits fans of difficult, atmospheric action RPGs who enjoy optional cooperative play.
