Atomic Heart 2 continues the story set in an alternate Soviet future overtaken by rogue robotics, following the same first person action approach as its predecessor with an expanded world and narrative.

Combat blends firearms, melee weapons, and special abilities drawn from the series' distinctive glove based powers, letting players adapt their approach to different robotic threats. The sequel builds on the original's retro futuristic art direction and story while continuing to explore the fallout of its alternate history setting.
