Grand Theft Auto V follows three criminals, a retired bank robber, a street hustler, and a psychopathic loose cannon, whose paths cross while pulling off increasingly ambitious heists across the state of San Andreas.

Players switch between the three protagonists during missions, blending story-driven crime drama with a sprawling open world full of side activities, vehicles, and its long-running online multiplayer mode.
