XCOM 2 is a turn-based tactics game following a resistance movement fighting to reclaim Earth from an alien occupation years after humanity's defeat.

Squads of soldiers battle across procedurally varied missions where positioning, cover, and permanent character death make every decision weigh heavily. Between missions, players manage a mobile base, research alien technology, and balance resources to keep the resistance alive.
